NDDC Niger Delta Development Commission in alliance with the federal government of Nigeria is  helping young graduates and youths of Nigeria to be self employed and self-reliant. This they have made possible through the introduction of the NDDC Skills Acquisition programme which is geared at training Niger-Deltans youths in self-development skills to enable them curb the ever-rising rate of unemployment and robbery in the country.

This year skills acquisition programme is made up of various programmes for both School Cert. holders, OND, HND and BSc. holders and is open for indigenes of Imo, Abia, Rivers, Edo, Akwa-Ibom, Bayelsa, Delta and Ondo states respectively. These programmes is made of two(2) categories:
FOR SCHOOL CERTIFICATE AND OND HOLDERS: These category is made up of various programmes underlisted below:

  • Welding and fabrication
  • Furniture making & wood work
  • Catering & confectionary
  • Food processing
  • Home management (tie & dye)
  • Modern printing technology
  • Entertainment industry
  • Computer technology/programming


FOR BSc. AND RELEVANT CERTIFICATES HOLDERS
: These category is made up of two programmes which include:

  • Maritime technology
  • Solar power maintenance

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
Interested candidates must have

  • A valid e-mail address and phone number which will be used for constant feedback
  • Scanned Passport photograph
  • Scanned certificate of origin
  • Scanned educational certificate

METHOD OF ONLINE APPLICATION

  • Visit NDDC Skills Training Official Website
  • Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on your desired training program
  • A form will be opened where you are required to complete
  • After successful completion, click continue to print your acknowledgement slip
  • Note down your reference ID

NOTE: Applicants are to note that multiple application is a criteria for disqualification.
This online application is ongoing and is expected to end on the 15th of October, 2017.
