Diamond bank bank has introduced a mobile Unstructured Supplementary Service Data (USSD) code which will make money transaction, easier and faster for the customer and the general public. Almost every bank in Nigeria has a peculiar USSD Code for money transfer which can be used to perform simple tasks like Banks transfer within or outside the bank, Airtime top-up for all networks, Payment of bills, Balance enquiry etc.
Before the availability of these codes, for a diamond bank customer to transfer, it is required that customer must have the mobile app which requires internet or availability of data. These now made Diamond bank customers to feel left out in respect to the non-availability of the bank transfer code.
This USSD Code is works in all phone models. This means a Nokia 3310 can perform these wonders. This recently launched service is open for customers to recharge their phones directly from their bank account VIA USSD CODE. This code is called the *426# Diamond Wonder. You just need to follow the steps below to make money transaction at the comfort of your house and place of work.
*426# Service Registration
For a customer to enjoy this service, it is required, that he/she must register. You can automatically register for the service if you are an account holder by dialing *426# OR the system automatically prompts you to register when you try any transaction. As part of the registration process, you will be required to create a PIN to enable you access the Intra and Inter Bank transfer services on the USSD platform. Follow the steps below to register
- From the phone number registered with your account, dial *426#
- You will be required to enter your Date of birth used to open the account
- You might also be prompted to enter the last six (6) digits on your ATM Debit Card
- Enter your Diamond account number
- Create your transfer pin
Money Transfer Codes
After a successful registration, before you can transfer money.
- You will be required to redial *426# to transfer
- Follow the prompts that comes up to enter account number and bank name of the person you are transferring to.
